A Little Hint

  • I work SPLIT always.   QSX +1 for CW,  QSX +5 for SSB
  • You don't need the extra power/punch.  I do.
  • So, if I cannot copy your call, it's one of two reasons
    • You're too weak anyway (propagation, etc..)
    • You're overpowering your radio(too much  mic gain, too much ALC)  Make the adjustments -- Lower the gain, Lower the ALC!
